This is the official internet presence of Makeni Mission District of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Central Zambia Conference territory, Zambia.
A warm welcome to all of you brothers and sisters in this body of Christ Jesus. May grace and peace be with you all. Makeni Mission District is wishing to extend their warm, welcoming and embracing hands to who ever wishes to visit within the sisterhood of our churches. Our churches are committed to providing you with a Bible based Christian experience, as we prepare for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Use this site to know more about our mission district and the sisterhood of churches.
We are located South West of the city of Lusaka. Thus, Western side of Kafue Road; Northen side of Linda road; Southern side of Los Angeles Road, stretching all the way to Christian Vision (Voice) Farm.
Baptised membership as at the end of June 2013 is 6, 096.
The sisterhood of churches is as follows:- i) Chilongolo SDA Church, ii) HB Jones SDA Church with two companies (Marydale and Namubomba), iii) John Laing Central SDA Church with one company (John Laing East), iv) John Laing Main SDA Church, v) John Laing North SDA Church, vi) John Laing West With one company (Sable Grounds), vii) Makeni Central SDA Church with one company (Makeni Hope), viii) Makeni Main SDA Church with one company (Amazing Discoveries), ix) Makeni North SDA Church with one company (Makeni Villa), x) Makeni South SDA Church with one branch (Balmoral North) and xi) Makeni West SDA Church with two companies (Makeni South West and Nyenyezi). xii) John Laing South SDA Church the newly organised - 4th August, 2013.
